Spring 2017 Grant Awards

GRAND JUNCTION, CO – The Mesa County Federal Mineral Lease District (MCFMLD) Board of Directors has awarded $352,764 to five grant applicants in Mesa County for the spring 2017 grant cycle.

Awards in the Traditional Grant Program Totaled $200,000 and was awarded to:
• City of Grand Junction, Colorado Mesa University, & School District 51 – Stocker Stadium Turf Project
Awards in the Mini Grant Program Totaled $152,764 and were awarded to:
• Town of Collbran, Plateau Valley School District – $50,000 for School Lift Station Replacement
• Town of De Beque – $50,000 for De Beque Drainage Mitigation Project
• Clifton Sanitation District – $45,000 for Wastewater Receiving Station and Building Expansion
• Lands End Fire Protection District – $7,764 for Thermal Imaging Camera
